Partner-level finance, priced for the businesses that need it most
Access CFO was built on a simple observation: the finance expertise that large companies take for granted is exactly what mid-sized businesses need and cannot afford to hire. So we stopped selling it by the head and started renting it by the month.
Access CFO is an outsourced CFO and finance-department firm based in New Delhi, founded by Gurdeep Singh Puri after 28 years of finance leadership across NDTV, TV18 and DEN Networks. The firm serves businesses between ₹2 crore and ₹200 crore in revenue across Delhi NCR and India, staffing every engagement with a named CFO, a chartered accountant controller and a dedicated analyst.
Why the firm exists
Our partners spent their careers inside large Indian companies — running IPOs and rights issues, closing M&A, sitting opposite banks and institutional investors, and building the reporting that listed boards rely on. The recurring frustration was not the difficulty of that work. It was watching genuinely good mid-sized businesses fail to get any of it, because the only way to buy it was to hire a ₹50-lakh executive they could not justify.
The structural answer is to share the seniority across several companies instead of dedicating it to one. A business doing ₹30 crore does not need a CFO forty hours a week. It needs a CFO for the decisions, a controller for the discipline, and an analyst for the execution — which is precisely how we staff every engagement.
How we work
- Named people, not account managers. The partner who scopes your work is the partner who attends your review calls. You get their number.
- A published calendar. Reconciliations by the 3rd, MIS by the 7th, forecast by the 10th, filings by the 11th. Outsourced finance fails on consistency, so we make the cadence public and hold ourselves to it.
- No lock-in. Thirty days’ notice, either side, from day one. On exit you get every file, model and password.
- Honest scoping. If you are too small for this to pay for itself, or large enough to need a full-time CFO in the building, we will say so on the first call.
- Your systems. Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, Busy or your ERP. Migration is never a precondition.
Who we work with
Businesses between roughly ₹2 crore and ₹200 crore in revenue, most of them founder-run or family-owned, across manufacturing, distribution and trading, services and IT, consumer brands and media. Concentrated in Delhi NCR, where we meet clients in person, and serving the rest of India remotely.
You don’t hire a freelancer.
You plug into a department.
Every engagement is staffed as a three-layer pod. The CFO thinks, the controller checks, the analyst executes — the same structure a ₹500 Cr company runs, scaled to fit yours.
The people who’ll actually
pick up your call.
Between them, well over two hundred years of finance leadership — across listed companies, IPOs, cross-border groups and tax litigation. No handoffs to juniors you have never met.
